Download is a really intense and fun shooter. It also
features some very interesting and unusual moments, mostly thanks to
a complex storyline that definitely provides a slick and cool backdrop
to the game's countless levels. Syd's journey gets him to explore
many odd locations - he will "jack-in" the police main computer and fight
a bio-mechanical virus, or fly a spacecraft and infiltrate a space station.
I don't want to spoil the rest of the game for you, but some of the last
stages are just very unusual and feature distinctive art and enemy designs.
I should warn you though, the game can be brutally difficult and the password system surely
helps to get through Syd's long journey without suffering a nervous breakdown. Not
the best shooter for the PC Engine system but quite possibly one
of the best. I highly recommend this one!

Superb game. I really liked this game and especially the polished
graphics and the good soundtrack. There is one caveat though, the
difficulty level is sometimes a little bit high but it's nothing you
won't handle. One of the best shooter for the PC Engine system
along with R-Type!
