'Raise and Simulation' game

This game is the conversion of the PC-9801 game released in 1992.
This is what can be called a Raise and Simulation game where
the player takes care of a group of student girls from high school.
You play a newly assigned teacher and you help five cute girls who
are on the register in 3 year B group to graduation. Each of
them displaying different personnality and hobbies. One for instance
is a sporty and dynamic girl. Another is an arrogant and
troublemaker. Finally the last one is gentle and love studing.
Everything is designed for the player to really believe in those
characters: dates of birth, blood type and Zodiac signs. The game
contains a high adult content (even if always mild) and can be
hard at first as a strong knowledge of the japanese language is
needed.

First version released in 1992 graduation for the PC-9801 and later, in 1993,
for the PC Engine, X68000 and FM-Town. Then Graduation II Neo Generation appeared
for the PC-9801 in 1994 and , the same year, for the PC-FX, PC Engine CDRom and Sega Saturn.
In 1995, Graduation II was released for the Playstation and 3DO. In 1996, a
Windows95 was released but also Graduation R for the Macintosh, Playstation
and Windows95. Graduation cross world was released later for
Sega Saturn (1997), Playstation (1996), Windows95 (1997). graduation II
appeared for the playstation and Sega Saturn in 1998. A Graduation for
wonderswan was also published in 1999.

As mentionned in the game description, a high knowledge of japanese
is needed to understand what is going on, especially as the girls
also speak ! The game offers amazing
graphics (some of the best for the PC Engine I think) but you will
be stuck many times not really knowing what to do next, except if
your japanese is better than mine. Once again I gave this game only
a two because of my lack of japanese but don't get me wrong, this
game is a sort of Tamagochi ancestor for adults and it is really
well done.
